How far is Chalet Genevieve from the village centre? 

It is a 10 minute walk across the piste into the centre of the village and a 15 minute walk back up to the chalet. The Train Bleu bus runs between the Rondpoint des Pistes and Chalet Genevieve every 15 minutes from 08.30 to 23.00. In very snowy, slippery conditions, the bus may turn round 300m down the road, leaving a short, uphill walk to the chalet.

Are there transfer services from the airport?

There are numerous transfer companies to get you from the airport to Chalet Genevieve. Guests usually book transfers with Snowdrone (www.snow-drone.com), Cool Bus (www.thecoolbus.co.uk) or Mountain Rescue Transfers (www.themountainrescue.com).

Is there Wi-Fi in the chalet?

Yes, there is free wifi.

Is there parking available?

There is one parking place in the garage and two parking places on the drive.

Where is a good place to get ski/snowboard hire?

Snowberry is the closest ski hire shop to Chalet Genevieve. Conveniently located at the bottom of the road and just on the edge of the nursery slopes, they offer a first-class service (www.snowberry-valdisere.com).

Is the chalet child-friendly?

Children love the hot tub but there is also plenty of outdoor space for snowball fights and building snowmen.

What is your cancellation policy?

A cancellation by a client will only be effective when written notification has been received by Ski Savoie Fayre and cancellation charges will apply as follows:

  1. More than 8 weeks before departure: loss of deposit
  2. 8-4 weeks: 50% of total cost of holiday
  3. 4-2 weeks: 75% of total cost of holiday
  4. Less than 2 weeks: 100% of total cost of holiday.
  5. If one occupant of a twin/double cancels, cancellation charges will apply in addition to a single supplement payable by the remaining occupant.
